I have been contemplating this idea. We set an intention in our yoga practice when we show up to class but how amazing would it be to do this daily, outside of class.
Then, I received an email through the contact form on my site. This lovely woman reached out and said she has a yoga practice and has an interest in fasting. She wants to gain more insight and inspiration on both.
This is SO cool! She set an intention! Is it possible that we do set intentions in our everyday lives but we don’t recognize them as such? they are presented to us specifically in yoga so it’s possible that I’m simply missing them in my everyday life.
As I’ve thought about this, I am going to utilize the philosophy of setting an intention now in my morning meditation/prayers. For today, I am going to find success in accepting ambiguity. I’ve had some recent stress in my work life and I’m not sure how things are going to look in my role. I intend to be settled in the “not knowing”.
I invite you to try this methodology. Maybe set an intention for today, for example, to have a beautiful day and notice the beauty all around you. That’s just one idea, the options are endless.
I wish you an amazing Monday.

be well,
Alli
